Put Your Fit on Repeat

If you want to get the most out of your wardrobe, then you should get the pieces that can be easily mixed and matched to create different outfits. Let me show you how I put it all together. I hope it helps!

High waisted Jeans

A pair of quality jeans are a good investment. Jeans never really go out of style, so a simple fitted style gives you a strong foundation to build multiple outfits. Gone are the days when you can’t wear that cute cropped top this summer with the high-waisted version. Show your figure and match it with that satin black spaghetti strap or white button down shirt for a smart casual look. High-waisted jeans are super flattering too, it gives an illusion of a bigger bum! There are so many varieties of these right now, but I love the slightly distressed ones, with a light wash or black denim. There are endless ways to look amazing in these jeans, so they will always have a place in your wardrobe.

Tailored Black Blazer

There’s something powerful about throwing on a blazer. It brings that next level of sophistication for your look. From slim fitted ones that sits perfectly on your waist to a boxier silhouette with an oversize fit. Keep it casual by pairing it with your white v-neck tee or throw it over your bralette if you feel a little sultry. This piece is so practical it can take you from your office to a fun night out.

Bodysuit

Do you remember Cindy Crawford in her Pepsi commercial sporting a white bodysuit? The supermodel paired it with denim shorts and… ohmygawdhowsexyisthat STILL?! Bodysuits are super comfy. Think of a one-piece swimsuit with a snap button closure. Make sure to get the thong bodysuit and say goodbye to any panty lines. Wear it with joggers and J’s for a sporty vibe or suit it up if you mean business. It can also be an undershirt if you’re wearing a loose top or over the shoulder knits. So many ways to wear this form fitting top.

Statement Accessories

As much as we love our neutral coloured outfits, the absence of accessories can make you feel naked. They say “less is more,” but once you know how to balance and put the right accessories together, your most basic fit will be elevated from boring to stunning. A statement necklace, earrings and belt are my top 3 favourite accessories that will make your outfit.  An all black outfit will look cute if paired with a gold drop earrings. Chunky necklaces make that statement on a simple tee, while waist belts are best for adding texture to your blazer or plain pants. Have fun accessorising!

Ankle Boots

This might be known an Autumn/Winter staple, but it doesn’t mean you can’t wear them when the weather starts to get warmer. From Balenciaga to Zara they took over the street and the runways. Whether it’s high heels or flats, there are so many styles of boots that will suit your personality. After all, every woman’s goal is finding the right shoes for every occasion. Just a few more weeks and you can easily transition from pants to flowy-skirts for spring and these will be the perfect match when we can start ditching our bulky winter boots! Yey!
