Wearing Men’s Clothing is the Best Hack Ever

OMG!!! I never thought wearing a sweater, cardigan or a coat from the men’s department would be such a game changer! I just learned that adding any of these pieces to your wardrobe can take your style to the next level.

The thing I love about menswear is its neutral tone, so it’s easy to pair with anything, but I find it most useful for fall/winter.

When the temperature dropped, it felt like I ran out of options for layering. So one day, when I needed something warm and cozy, I raided my husband’s closet and saw his hoodie! Oversized, but the length is just enough so it turned out looking like a cut and cozy dress.

It matches well with this ex-boyfriend jean jacket too.

If you haven’t tried it before, you can start with a plain black shirt. Pair it with a biker shorts or a leggings. Layer with your own trucker jacket, white trainers and you’re ready to run some errands.

Wear your man’s cardigan with a bodysuit, lightly faded denim and black heeled ankle boots like I did. Accessorize it with a cute hat or some jewellery. It’s simple and sexy!

There are so many ways to wear your favorites from his closet, but make sure to balance it out by adding a touch of femininity by wearing a bold red lip or pair it with high heels. It’s one of my favourite style staples now.

Next time you’re out shopping, make sure to swing by the men’s section and cop yourself something nice or just visit your husband/boyfriend’s closet, I’m pretty sure you’ll find pieces you can use to complete your winter look.
