Fall Dress Code

Are we ready for some pumpkin spice lattes? 

Summer is over just like that and Fall is officially here. The temperature gets cooler, the daylight is noticeably shorter and soon the leaves will slowly shed - giving us a breathtaking view. I can already feel the sense of comfort and warmth that fall has to offer. We are now shifting to one of the most stylish seasons of the year and I cannot wait to see how charming the city of Montreal can be. 

It’s an awesome time to pull out your coats, teddy bear jackets, boots and scarves to embrace Autumn. 

Today, I’m sharing you how I combine the old with a new to create an edgy fall look. 

Biker Leather Jacket -  This perfect transition outerwear piece is a great way to top off any of your fall outfits. The thin faux leather materials nowadays are soft and just as comfy as your cotton jackets. Style it with your dress or rock it with a vintage shirt to toughen up your look.  It is definitely one of the major pieces you have to invest with this season. 

Oversized knitwear - This is a find from the Nordstrom Sale last year in Vancouver and I’m so happy to able to use it again on the first day of fall. This type is one of the best sweater options to keep you warm because it’s bigger than your usual knits, so it has more room for layering. It’s so practical and easy to style with a bunch of different bottoms. 

Over-the-knee boots - If you grew up in the tropics, chances are you never bought this kind of footwear. Honestly, I wasn’t interested in them at all until I moved to Canada. I am so glad I purchased a pair and now I’m in love with it and planning to get another one in Tan. It’s so fashion forward and sexier than the lower booties for sure. Pair it with your knit dress, leather pants, jeans or midi skirt. Any look you choose, this will spice up your OOTD so you look amazing this fall.
