Laritzy Cosmetics Review

More beauty brands are creating products that are not just cruelty free, but also vegan-friendly like the Montreal-based makeup line from Laritzy Cosmetics.  Their products are free of parabens and other harmful ingredients which are toxic for our skin.

I discovered this brand a couple of weeks ago as some of their products were part of a giveaway we received at an event.

Matte Liquid Lipstick - First things first. I LOVE the subtle scent of vanilla. It’s not very strong, but you can tell it’s there. This brown colour with a nice mauve undertone is definitely my vibe. The small applicator doe glides on easily, giving me the perfect amount of product. I gave it a wear test and applied it before I went to the gym and had breakfast. I’m impressed that the colour wears well with barely any transfer even after eating, drinking and sweating up a storm.

515 Lipgloss - I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of lipgloss in general. With the rise of the perfect matte lipstick, I prefer not to have sticky lips. However, this one it’s worth the try. This clear gloss claims to give an effortless HIGH-GLOSS. I’m glad that the formula is thin and moisturizing on the lips. This could be a good lipstick topper if you want a pretty sheen or one drop in the center of your lips will help you serve looks by creating the illusion of pouty lips.

Halo Dew pot - Having a naturally dry skin, I live for products that give me a dewy finish. I mean, anything that will leave my skin luminous, healthy and glowing, I’m down for it! Highlighter has always been a part of my makeup routine and while this is not the typical “blinding and highlight to the Gods”, it gives a more natural finish that doesn’t sit on top of your skin. You’ll have the inner glow you want, by dabbing it gently to the high points of your face will give you instant radiance for sure. Now that fall is almost here, I highly recommend you try it if you’re going with a no-makeup makeup look.
